Hello, your current location:Home> Characteristics of falling film evaporation system
At present, falling film evaporators are commonly used for the evaporation and concentration of water or organic solvent solutions in industries such as medicine, food, chemical, and light industry, and can be widely used for the disposal of waste liquids in these industries.
The falling film evaporator uses a compressor to increase the energy of the secondary steam, and utilizes the increased energy of the secondary steam to recover its latent heat. Specifically, the secondary steam generated by the evaporator is adiabatically compressed by a compressor to increase its pressure and temperature, and then sent as heating steam into the heating chamber of the evaporator for condensation and heat release. Therefore, the latent heat of the steam is recovered and utilized.
The characteristics of the falling film evaporation system include:
The feed liquid of the falling film evaporator enters from the top of the evaporator and falls in a film shape along the pipe wall under the action of gravity, evaporating and thickening during this process, and obtaining concentrated liquid at its bottom. The falling film evaporator can evaporate materials with high concentration and viscosity.
2. Due to the film like activity of the solution in the one-way evaporator, the heat transfer coefficient is relatively high.
3. Short residence time, less likely to cause material degradation, suitable for handling heat sensitive materials.
4. The liquid retention is small, and the falling film evaporator can operate quickly based on changes in energy supply, vacuum degree, feed rate, concentration, etc.
5. Due to the fact that the process fluid only moves under the action of gravity, rather than relying on high temperature differences for propulsion, low temperature difference evaporation can be utilized.
6. The falling film evaporator is suitable for evaporation and concentration of foaming materials. Since the feed liquid evaporates in a film form in the heating tube, vapor liquid separation is formed. At the same time, at the bottom of the effect body, most of the feed liquid is pumped away. As long as a small part of the feed liquid and all the secondary steam enter the separator to strengthen separation, the whole process of the feed liquid does not constitute too much impact, preventing the formation of foam.
