Overview of tubular MVR evaporator
Tube type MVR evaporator is an efficient evaporation device that combines tube type heat exchange structure with mechanical vapor recompression (MVR) technology. It is widely used in chemical, food, pharmaceutical, wastewater treatment and other fields, mainly for concentration, crystallization or desalination treatment of solutions. Its core components include a tubular evaporator body (heating chamber and separation chamber), a steam compressor (such as centrifugal or Roots), a circulation pump, a condenser (auxiliary), and an automatic control system.

Working principle
The core principle of the tubular MVR evaporator is to recover the energy of secondary steam through mechanical compression, achieving "steam self circulation". The specific process is as follows:
Evaporation process: The material to be processed (such as dilute solution) enters the heating chamber (tube side or shell side) of the tubular evaporator, and is heated by the heating steam on the other side before boiling. The water evaporates to produce "secondary steam" (with lower temperature and pressure), and the material is separated into gas and liquid in the separation chamber. The concentrated material is circulated or discharged.
Secondary steam compression: The generated secondary steam is not directly discharged, but is mechanically compressed by a steam compressor (core equipment) to increase its temperature and pressure (enthalpy value), and converted into reusable "heating steam".
Energy cycle: The compressed high-temperature and high-pressure steam re enters the tubular heating chamber as a heat source and exchanges heat with the material, condensing into condensate water (which can be recycled), and the material is heated again to produce new secondary steam, forming a cycle of "steam compression reheating".
The entire process only requires a small amount of energy supplementation (electricity to drive the compressor), replacing the traditional mode of continuous consumption of fresh steam by evaporators and significantly reducing energy consumption.

Efficient heat transfer: The tubular structure provides a large heat transfer area (up to several hundred square meters for a single device), and the medium flow inside the tube/shell side is uniform, resulting in high heat transfer efficiency and suitable for large-scale continuous production.
Stable operation: The steam cycle utilization reduces temperature and pressure fluctuations in the system, and the automatic control system can accurately control the evaporation rate and concentration, resulting in stable product quality.
Strong adaptability: It can handle solutions of various properties (such as neutral and weakly corrosive solutions), but the tube material (such as stainless steel and titanium) needs to be selected according to the material characteristics (such as viscosity and corrosiveness).
